6. Bollywood Horror
Bollywood Horror is a fairly old genre, like most genres on our list, and it’s not nearly as silly as it sounds.
It is based on the U.S. horror movies, and it draws its inspiration from Hollywood classics, such as The Exorcist, and horror movies made in the first half of the 20th century in the U.S.
Bollywood horror is characterized by song and dance, monsters, dark creatures, ghosts and other similar characters that appear in horror movies, including a Bollywood cast.
The most notable Bollywood Horror films are those made by the Ramsay brothers, as well as Jaani Dushman, Mahal, and Nagin.
Bollywood Horror is a legitimate genre that is often unfairly reduced to a lower status despite the fact that it’s much better than its name reveals.
