This simple documentary made by an independent filmmaker, Morgan Spurlock, depicts Morgan taking up a fast food diet during which he eats nothing but 3 McDonald’s meals a day for 30 days.

The movie shows the drastic changes in Morgan’s lifestyle and focuses on what this diet does to his physical and psychological well-being.

He ended up eating around 9 Big Macs per day (around 5,000 kcal) during this experiment, and as a result, Morgan gained 24½ lbs (11.1 kg), his body mass increased by 13%, his cholesterol skyrocketed to 230 mg/dL, while he also ended up experiencing mood swings, sexual dysfunction, and fat accumulation in his liver.
