Reflections of cameras and crew can clearly be seen in several scenes. Reflections of a camera truck on Optimus Prime’s bumper in one scene should really have been spotted at the editing stage.
Based on the popular Transformers action toys, the live action movie received a mixed reaction. Special effects techniques were pushed to the limit, and some felt this meant the plot and script suffered. The movie was clearly aimed at younger audiences, and it was ultimately a huge success for the studio.

In spite of the accidental appearance of equipment and crew, “Transformers” was nominated for three Academy Awards. The film also picked up four awards from the Visual Effects Society.
The sequel, “Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen” was an even greater financial success. Product placement deals helped to push profits higher. The third film in the series went on to gross over a billion dollars. Bigger budgets have meant closer attention to details, and the mistakes made in the original movie have been avoided.
“Transformers: Age of Extinction” was released in 2014 and is regarded as the best in the series so far.
