7. Parenthood
The movie had a specific feel to it, a truly warm and well-thought out atmosphere, which only got better thanks to the amazing acting skills of Steve Martin, Keanu Reeves, and others.
The first series aired in 1990, which got cancelled after only 12 episodes although it did a fairly good job in channeling the essence of the movie.
Thankfully, the new millennium was much nicer to the evergreen story of family relations, as 2010’s Parenthood TV series is still airing, decently successfully.
