Working Girl, the 1990’s TV spin-off of an award-winning flick of the same title, had a lot of things going for it and it seemed like a good idea in theory.
Alas, the audience didn’t feel the same way and the show which spawned Sandra Bullock into stardom got cancelled after just one season.
People failed to fall in love with the show, like they did with the movie, saying that something was simply “missing.” Although a good idea on paper, and fairly done, Working Girl remained in the nineties to become a real-life example of how sometimes things just don’t work out, no matter how hard you tried.
