3. Danica McKellar
Danica Mae McKellar is perhaps best known for playing Winnie Cooper on the late 80’s TV show called “The Wonder Years”.
When the series ended, McKellar decided to say goodbye to her acting career and she focused on her education.
The actress studied at UCLA and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with honors.
In case that alone is not badass enough for you, the actress has thus far written four non-fiction books that are aimed at giving middle school and high school girls confidence and the ability to succeed in the ever so complicated science of mathematics.
Although Danica decided to ditch her Hollywood career so she could fully focus on her science, she did make a couple of modern TV cameos on shows like “How I Met Your Mother” and “The Big Bang Theory”.
