She might have made her appearance in the 2003 “Daredevil,” but Elektra’s story is much richer than just being an opponent to the blind superhero.
This Marvel heroine suffers a fate just as bad as DC’s Wonder Woman – female superheroes are not something you see every day on the big screen. In all honesty, Elektra isn’t as much of a superhero as she is an anti-hero, but she definitely has her good sides.
Long before Jennifer Garner took up the role for the 2003 flick, director Oliver Stone has been tied to a solo Elektra movie as early as 1992. The film would be named “Elektra Assassin,” but unfortunately, 20th Century Fox decided to mix her with Bullseye and Kingpin in the “Daredevil” movie.
