Tracy Letts is already recognized by the critics and well-loved by audiences familiar with his stage work, and his already high profile will only be raised even more after watching his adaptation “August: Osage County.”

However, “Killer Joe” is not something to stumble upon along with your parents, not knowing what you are getting your family into.

Sure, it sounds like a hoot – a William Friedkin crime thriller starring Matthew McConaughey and Emile Hirsch, and the story follows a young man whose life is in danger and he turns to putting a hit out on his evil mother (wait what?) in order to collect the insurance… and oh, my God!
