Who would have thought this Canadian actor who kicked some serious arse in comedies like “Dumb and Dumber”, “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective”, “Me, Myself & Irene”, “Liar, Liar” (the list goes on), would make a victorious transition to drama?
Not that many people probably, but Jim Carey did just that.
Back in 2004 Carrey starred in “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”, a surreal story about a couple who, when their relationship turns sour, undergoes a procedure to have each other erased from their memories. However, it is only through the process of loss that they discover what they had to begin with.
If you for some reason haven’t yet seen this masterpiece, do it now.
