J. J. Abrams is a massive fan of the “Uncharted” series and Vin Diesel can often be found down a mine in “World Of Warcraft.”
But perhaps the biggest gaming geek of all was Robin Williams, who loved Nintendo’s “Legend Of Zelda” so much that he used to travel the world promoting the game, even though he had nothing to do with its creation.
In fact, he was such a huge fan of the video game that he named his first daughter after the princess from the game.
“The Legend of Zelda” is a high fantasy themed action-adventure game series created by Japanese game designers Shigeru Miyamoto, Takashi Tezuka and Eiji Aonuma. Its gameplay is a mixture of action, adventure, and puzzle solving. It is one of Nintendo’s most important and popular franchises.
The series centers on Link, the playable character. Link is often given the task of rescuing Princess Zelda from Ganondorf, a Gerudo thief who is the primary antagonist of the series.
He even made several commercials for the game in which he passionately speaks about Zelda, both the game and his beloved daughter, calling them both magical.
