11. Robin “Shazbot” Williams

It would appear that Robin wasn’t only brilliant when it came to improvising on stage or in front of cameras.

In fact, he improvised so much during the filming of a sitcom back in 1978, that he even managed to invent a new word.

“Shazbot” is generally used as a substitute curse-word or a euphemism.

It was first coined by Williams on the situation comedy “Mork & Mindy” in 1978, in which Mork says the expression during the opening credits. Later, it was used in an episode of “The Simpsons” called Treehouse of Horror VI, which aired in 1995, and the curse-word was symbolically used by the notorious green aliens from the famous cartoon.

In 1998, it was used as a voice chat option in the very popular “Starsiege Tribes” game and was carried over into the sequels “Tribes 2″ and “Tribes: Vengeance.”

Interestingly enough, Shazbot, Nano Nano also remain the last recorded words of the legendary former singer of AC/DC Bon Scott (1946-1980), still available on the legendary album “Highway to Hell.”
