6. Robin & high school mates

In high school he was voted “Most Funny, But Least Likely To Succeed”. Talking about bad calls, right?

It’s pretty shocking to think that his classmates were actually mean enough to create such an award in the first place, and clueless enough to vote Robin the least likely to succeed.

But then again, Williams indeed was a shy, overweight young man back in high school, so he probably dealt with his share of bullying, was laughed at a lot and, as a result, was a bit insecure and vulnerable.

Well, through some strangely ironic scenario that only life can direct, those very same people who laughed at him in high school were again laughing at him, only this time it was because Robin was intentionally making them laugh through his extremely funny movies and roles. Life is funny that way, much like Robin was.

They probably didn’t even dream this little shy boy will someday become one of the greatest actors and comedians in the history of the film industry, appearing in such great movies like “Good Morning, Vietnam”, “Dead Poets Society”, “Awakenings”, “The Fisher King”, ”Good Will Hunting”, “Hook”, “Aladdin”, “Mrs. Doubtfire”, “Jumanji”, “The Birdcage”, “Night at the Museum”, “Happy Feet” and many more.
