Here’s a short summary so you know the ropes about this one if you haven’t watched the movie yet.
Daniel Hillard (Williams) is an eccentric actor who specializes in dubbing voices for cartoon characters.
Daniel is a kind man and a loving father, but he’s a poor disciplinarian and a shaky role model. After throwing an elaborate and disastrous birthday party for his son, Daniel’s wife Miranda (Sally Field) reaches the end of her patience and files for divorce.
Daniel is heartbroken when Miranda is given custody of the children and he learns that Miranda is looking for a housekeeper, and with help from his brother Frank (Harvey Fierstein), a makeup artist, Daniel gets the job disguised as Mrs. Iphegenia Doubtfire.
Now, one time during the filming of this masterpiece, Robin decided to test the authenticity of his costume as an old lady Doubtfire, so he went in inside an adult bookstore, managed to make a purchase and went out without being recognized.
He thought it was so amazing to have the ability to transform like that. I just wonder what the salesperson at the adult bookstore thought when a sweet old lady went in and bought a dirty book.
