Cameos are always fun for mass audiences, but they also seem like fun to the actors who participate in them as well.

Tom Cruise had an amazingly funny cameo as Les Grossman in Tropic Thunder.

Not only was his participation in the movie completely uncredited, which made things even more fun for everyone, but it was also genius, at least as much as one cameo can get.

Cruise’s makeup and performance made you think that you know this actor, but you’re not sure: “Could it be Tom Cruise? Nah, probably not.” It was one of those rare moments when you actually liked this A-lister, let’s be honest.
