Actor and comedian Patton Oswalt recalled how Snipes would sit in his trailer and smoke marijuana all day.
Wesley Snipes’ behavior was allegedly a protest of some kind against director David Goyer and New Line Cinema who, Snipes believed, owed him more money for his performance and were squeezing him out of creative control.
The whole thing ended with Snipes communicating with Goyer exclusively via Post-it notes that he would sign with the name “Blade.” At least he has a sense of humor.
