Often playing negative, stingy and austere characters, Alfred Molina is a superb character actor born in London to an Italian mother and a Spanish father.

Thanks to his southern European heritage, he has been able to play characters of all sorts of backgrounds.

His most memorable roles came in Raiders Of The Lost Ark (1981), Maverick (1994), Species (1995), Boogie Nights (1997), Magnolia (1999), Chocolat (2000), Frida (2002), Spider-Man 2 (2004), The Da Vinci Code (2006), An Education (2009) and Rango (2011).
