Jon Snow might not know a lot of things, but he’s certain of his affection towards the wildling called Ygritte. Perhaps that’s why nobody expected her to die the way she did.

Ygritte is one of those characters who can both annoy you to all hell just make you find her attractive and adorable a few seconds later.

She’s witty, strong, and ruthless, but if Jon Snow liked her, so should we.

Nonetheless, the Wildling chick suffered the same fate as all other characters on this list. During the battle at Castle Black, Ygritte got shot by an arrow and died in Jon’s hands.

Even if you didn’t like her, the amount of pain in Jon Snow’s eyes was utterly moving.
