Marcus (played by Vincent Cassel) and Pierre (played by Albert Dupontel) who are seeking revenge for the brutally raped girl played by Monica Bellucci.
The film uses a reverse chronological format much like the classic called “Memento”, however this movie does this by making each and every scene flow and merge seamlessly into one another. Simply Brilliant.
The sickest scene of the movie is the opener, which also turns out to be the dramatic conclusion of the movie – a sudden, shocking and brutal murder in which a man’s head is crushed to mush with a fire extinguisher.
Irreversible indeed.
