15 Most Disturbing And Scary Movies Ever

salo-120-days

8. Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom (1975)

This is an Italian art film written and directed by Pier Paolo Pasolini, with un-credited writing contributions by Pupi Avati.

It is based on the book The 120 Days of Sodom, by the Marquis de Sade.

The movie is basically a pointless and bourgeois sequence of systematic degradations. Powerful men capture their victims and subject them to ritual-like sexual humiliation and subsequently, death.

Because of its scenes depicting intensely graphic violence, sadism and sexual depravity, the film was extremely controversial upon its release, and remains banned in several countries.

As for the toughest scene to watch – imagine a group of victims who are presented with a delicious meal entirely made of human excrement.

Hmm… Sh*t really hits the fan in this one.
