With Pixar you definitely get the whole nine yards.
Not only “Toy Story” was the first computer-generated full-length feature film ever, where each frame took hours to complete, it was one of the most beautiful stories ever written.
It went on to earn over $361 million worldwide and, more importantly, reviews went through the roof with positive comments, praising the animation’s technical innovation, and the screenplay’s wit and sophistication. It is now widely considered to be one of the best animated films ever made.
Over at Pixar they truly understand what it means to make the audience respond a piece of animated art. As someone once said: “If you can get through the first 10 minutes of Up, or the final sequence in Toy Story 3 without tearing up a little, you may not actually be human.”
