4. Ocean’s 11 (1960)
All the Marvel’s subsequent installments have stingers, however, contrary to popular belief of modern audience, Marvel wasn’t the first one to utilize this interesting trick.
Namely, the first one can be seen at the end of original “Ocean’s 11,” which showed Sinatra, Davis, and the rest of the Ocean’s 11 crew slowly strolling down a street in Las Vegas.
Of course, if one would compare the modern-day stingers, which surprise the viewers or even reveal some new information, this one is pretty uneventful, but we have to take into account that this was the very first stinger ever created.
Innovative, indeed.
