Probably the greatest franchise of all time, The Phantom Menace got bad reviews not only from the critics but from their devoted fans as well.
And while most blamed the shortcomings of The Phantom Menace on writer-director George Lucas, there was another huge prickle in the eyes of the fans, a prickle that still annoys the living daylight out of every Star Wars fan that thinks highly of himself.
10-year-old star Jake Lloyd didn’t do himself any favors when he took the role in this franchise. Fans are still verbally devouring him on every occasion that they get, even now after all those years. Lloyd has appeared in just one movie in the subsequent 15 years.
