During a Quidditch match, Harry’s broom has been bewitched and tries to shake him off. Hermione tries to cast spells to get the broom under control.
Look at the broom right about this time, and you can see the hidden seat built onto the broom to make it more comfortable for Daniel Radcliffe to use.
Look carefully throughout this match to catch glimpses of other bicycle seat-type devices used in this scene. The continuity person was probably too involved in the Quidditch match to notice.
The editing team also failed to pick up on continuity errors made by the makeup department as Harry’s scar changes position several times throughout the movie.
As a tribute to the movie, the London Transport Authority have erected a sign at King’s Cross railway station marking out the fictional platform 9 ¾ that featured in the film. Below the sign is a luggage trolley that appears to have passed halfway through the wall symbolising the secret passageway to Hogwart’s Academy. Overexcited fans can often be seen trying to push the trolley or even running headfirst into the wall.
