However, all the computer wizardry in the world cannot replace good editing as one of the most glaring continuity errors in film history is one that is also often overlooked.
Early on in “Jurassic Park,” it is firmly established that the ground on the inside of the T-Rex pen is completely flat and level. The movie makes the point of showing us a small lamb being raised out of the ground to be used to coax the Rex out of hiding.
Later on during the movie, the same area suddenly becomes a huge cavern that the human characters must climb down to avoid getting eaten. The sequence is so thrilling people rarely notice.
As well as terrifying audiences all over the world, the Tyrannosaurus Rex used in the film also scared the life out of the crew. Heavy rainfall caused the robotic monster to malfunction and come alive at random moments sending crew members running for their lives.
