15. Moonlight

It seems like anything with vampires will automatically go over well with audiences. And for the show “Moonlight” this seemed to be the case for a short time.

Part “Romeo and Juliet”, part “Twilight”, and part “Sherlock Holmes” this zany show was just bizarre enough to captivate those who love vampires, but was mainstream enough to draw in romance and crime show lovers, as well.

The show chronicled the relationship between the two main characters, private investigator Mick St.

John and his bride Coraline. Mick St. John’s wife turned him into a vampire on their wedding night, and while they look young and the show they had supposedly been married for 55 years. He solves crime and deals with his attraction to mortal women, creating both of romantic and crime solving aspect of the show.

Fans became very interested in the plot and invested in the characters, and most of the diehard fans believe that the show was canceled far too soon. Most people believe that had the show been given the chance to grow it would have done quite well. However, the show was not as long-lasting as the main character’s marriage was, being canceled after just one season.

While fans hope the show will be brought back, chances are good that it is gone forever.
