You could say that this show was about vampires before vampires were cool. However, instead of a vampire romance this story followed the main character, Buffy, as she hunted vampires.
The premise is that Buffy is one in a long line of Slayers, or people who are called by fate to battle vampires, demons, and dark forces. Her mentor, Watcher, was also the mentor to many vampire slayers who came before her. However, unlike the other Slayers, Buffy surrounds herself with a group of friends who are both loyal and helpful.

Not only did the show provide viewers with enough action to keep them entertained, the underlying themes of friendship and teamwork made the main characters very relatable to the general audience. The show may be over, but just as Buffy’s Scooby Gang was loyal to her, fans will continue to be loyal to the show and love it for years to come.
