Aside from Stephen Amell taking up the role of vigilante Casey Jones in “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2,” we now learn that a character on the other side of the good/bad spectrum is going be a bit different.
According to reports from Variety, Brian Tee is set to inherit the role of Shredder from Tohoru Masamune, who played the character in the first installment. It’s still unclear whether Shredder will be the main antagonist or something of a side villain in the sequel.
Although we’ve already seen director Jonathan Liebesman’s vision of the classic bad guy, we still expect the new Shredder to bring at least some change.
One could easily say that the sequel to this action-packed comic adaptation is looking good for now.
With returning Megan Fox, Will Arnett, and the turtles, as well as the confirmed appearances of Casey Jones and and Bebop & Rocksteady, the new Shredder only adds to the excitement “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2” is sure to deliver.
