When “World War Z” hit the theaters in 2013, fans of action, adventure, and horror were amazed by the movie’s deepness and thrill-packed sequences.
This meant that the star of the 2013 flick Brad Pitt wouldn’t reprise his role of Gerry Lane. Fortunately for all of us, things are looking different.
According to Variety, Brad Pitt officially came to terms with Paramount Pictures about his return to the franchise. The plot of “World War Z 2” is still unknown, but if we were to judge by the atmosphere of the original movie, we can expect chaos and even more zombies, if that’s even possible.
The sequel is set to be directed by J.A. Bayona, who is known to deliver some prime-time scares. All in all, seeing that Brad Pitt is once again attached to the franchise with Bayona directing the project, you can expect great things out of “World War Z 2” when it comes to the theaters on June 9, 2017.
