Jamie Foxx To Play Crime Boss In Edgar Wright’s ‘Baby Driver’

Since Edgar Wright has been able to tackle Lily James and Ansel Elgort for his new action comedy movie “Baby Driver”, he is now looking to spice things up a bit and he wants Jamie Foxx as a crime boss.

The negotiations are taking place as we speak and we hope Wright and Foxx find themselves on the same page.

Details

The plot follows a crime boss (hopefully Jamie Foxx) who forces a young and talented getaway driver (Elgort) to work for him.

The driver will soon have to face the music when he finds himself taking part in a doomed heist from which he needs to get out alive.

Edgar Wright is both writer and director, but he will have a little help from his longtime friends and collaborators, Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan. Nira Park and her Big Talk Productions is in charge for producing this crime comedy.

As for Jamie Foxx, the actor is currently shooting Baran Bo Odar’s “Sleepless Nights”, in which portrays a cop who gets involved in the criminal underworld in order to find his kidnapped son. “Sleepless Nights” is a remake of the 2011 French movie “Nuit Blanche”.
