Amy Poehler To Star In Will Ferrell’s The House

Will Ferrell’s upcoming comedy The House just scored a huge star for the role of Ferrell’s wife. Amy Poehler, former Saturday Night Live cast member and one of the biggest names in Hollywood right now, is reportedly in talks for the interesting role in the movie, which will also be produced by Ferrell.

The House follows the story of a couple who spends their daughter college fund, and thus need to find a solution. They set on teaming up with a few neighbors to open an illegal casino in their suburban neighborhood. Naturally, hilarity ensues.

The story sounds solid enough to be a huge blockbuster, especially if Ferrell continues to wheel in huge names in show business.

The star-studded comedy will be directed by Andrew J. Cohen, who also wrote the script along with his Bad Neighbors colleague Brendan O’Brien.

The shooting of the already-anticipated movie is set to begin in August, which means that the movie will be ready for release sometime next year.

If you just can’t get enough of Amy Poehler and you can’t wait to see her playing Ferrell’s wife, you will get the chance to check her out in Pixar’s Inside Out in July. She will also be co-starring with her regular collaborator, famed comedian and actress Tina Fey, in Sisters, which is set to premiere in January, 2016.
