While the Sylvester Stallone’s 2010 project “The Expendables” was a huge hit, its sequel weren’t as successful. Each movie after the original earned less and less money, with “The Expendables 3” totaling at $39.3 million domestically.

Needles to say, the franchise is box office slump. However, rumors have it that Stallone still isn’t giving up, as he plans to involve the famous wrestler Hulk Hogan as the main villain of “The Expendables 4.”
While doing a Q&A at the Body power Expo in England a couple of days ago, Hogan was asked about his possible involvement in the action hero franchise.
“Can I still run, can I still jump? Well, not as fast or not as high, but I think Hollywood could find a good stunt man to help me out.”
When he said ‘first break’, Hulk Hogan was referring to his role of Thunderlips in “Rocky III” from 1982. Since then, this wrestler had a number of generic roles, but in the end he even admitted that his acting career ‘sucked’.
Nonetheless, he was the first among his kind to hit the big screen, paving the way for John Cena, Steve Austin, and the now-famous Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Whether or not a villainous role in “The Expendables 4” is able to save Hogan’s acting career is unclear, but it might just give Stallone’s franchise a kick it so desperately needs.
