One of the most recognizable faces of Halloween movies, Jamie Lee Curtis, has been reprising her role in the franchise before, but now the actress is apparently looking to have one final encounter with Michael Myers.
Curtis will be returning one last time as Laurie Strode and she will be doing this for the new (and allegedly) FINAL sequel to “Halloween.”
Yes, the upcoming installment of “Halloween” has been marked by Blumhouse Productions and Universal as the “final” Halloween, but only time will tell if this would turn out to be true.

The new Halloween sequel will, somewhat surprisingly, be directed by David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express, All the Real Girls), who also wrote the script alongside Danny McBride. As far as the original writer/director for Halloween, John Carpenter, he now has the roles of an executive producer and a consultant.
Despite having David Gordon Green on board as the director, the last Halloween movie won’t be a comedy-horror endeavor, nor will it be a reboot. The IMDB genre description simply says HORROR, and that’s what the fans want.
We can’t wait to see Jamie Lee Curtis’ character face the notorious killer one last time!
