It has been announced recently that famed actor and director Clint Eastwood will be continuing making biopics of ordinary heroic people, and that the newest one will be a movie about pilot Chesley Sully Sullenberger.
New information comes our way this week, stating that A-lister Tom Hanks is reportedly in talks to play the heroic pilot.

That safely-ending incident led to a memoir called Highest Duty: My Search For What Really Matters, which captured producer Franks Marshall’s eye.
Marshall then bought the rights of the book, and decided to make a movie out of it with Sully himself as one of the producers and Eastwood as director.
Sully seemed pleased with Eastwood in the director’s chair, and he will likely feel the same way when Hanks agrees to portray him on the big screen.
The script was adapted by Todd Komarnicki, and the shooting is scheduled to start sometime this year.
Meanwhile, famed Hanks has a couple of movies scheduled for release, including Bridge Of Spies in November, Inferno in October 2016, while Ithaca and A Hologram For The King don’t have confirmed release dates yet.
