Good nutrition has given you some length of bone, but you’re not more than one generation from poor white trash, are you, Agent Starling?!”
Sir Anthony Hopkins stars in the role of his lifetime in “The Silence of the Lambs” as a twisted psychologist who eats people.
The creepiest movie of all time also contains one of the most scathing putdowns in movie history. Hopkins managed to terrify audiences and scoop an Oscar for his role despite being on screen for only 16 minutes. Jodie plays Agent Starling, a slightly withdrawn FBI agent who is sent to enlist the help of Dr. Lector played by Hopkins.
The FBI believe he may be able to offer some insight into a recent serial killer case that sees the killer skin his female victims before dumping their bodies. The movie is a psychological game of cat and mouse as Agent Starling desperately tries to get to the bottom of the case before more women are found dead.
The film was based on the relationship between serial killer Ted Bundy and criminology professor Robert Keppel.
