‘Stranger Things’ Season 2 To Return On Halloween

Netflix’s Stranger Things aired a new teaser trailer during the Super Bowl leaving us fans just a tad ambivalent. We got what we’ve been waiting for – a magnificent glimpse into what lies ahead – but the teaser left us with a bad taste in our mouths as we learned that the wait will be longer than we expected.

Yep, the release date for season 2 has just been postponed until Halloween and the fans are not exactly happy.

The short 36 second clip features: Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) dressed as Ghostbusters; Eleven in what seems to be a rather precarious situation; and a colossal embodiment of pure sky-high evil that we are yet to find out what (or who) it actually is.

Season 2 Hype Is Real

The show is definitely one of the most anticipated series at moment and ever since season 1 ended last summer, we’ve been left with quite a few lingering questions:

  • What happened to Eleven?
  • Does Will have special powers?
  • What is that thing he is coughing up?
  • What (where, when) exactly is the Upside Down?
  • Who controls the gates into the upside down?
  • Is there more than one monster?
  • If yes, what do they want?
  • Are other kids with special powers out there somewhere?
  • What else goes on at the Hawkins lab?

Hopefully we will get some answers once the show’s second season airs, however we will have to be patient. The hype is indeed real, but it might water down quite a bit until Halloween (of course it won’t).

Stranger Things, Season 2 will begin streaming on October 31st, 2017.
