While “Snow White and the Huntsman” was received with mixed reviews among fans and critics alike, we can say for sure that its sequel, “The Huntsman,” is highly anticipated.
As it was in the original movie, Chris Hemsworth is still the Huntsman, and Charlize Theron is still Queen Ravenna. And now we find out who will be joining them.
According to Deadline, Jessica Chastain and Emily Blunt are almost certain additions to Universal Pictures’ fairy tale adaptation. The third member of this merry band is Nick Frost, but this one is not as certain.
As for now, it’s unclear as to which role is Jessica Chastain going to fill, but we know that Emily Blunt is set to star as Charlize Theron’s sister who’s even more evil than her, also known as The Snow Queen.
The main reason behind the Nick Frost conundrum is the recent report which claims that Frost, Toby Jones, and Eddie Marsan walked away from “The Huntsman,” due to being unable to make a deal with the heads at Universal Pictures.
We hope that Frost can come to terms with the production house, because we would love seeing him in a movie like “The Huntsman.” As for the two actresses that joined, you can be certain that they only enriched the already impressive cast of this sequel.
