Top 10 Creepiest Curses Of Hollywood

8. Billy Bob Thornton: “The Billy Bob Thornton Death Curse”

This curse is less about one specific movie and more about a bunch of movies – Billy Bob Thornton movies, that is.

Apparently the former Mr. Angelina Jolie is not very good luck for his co-stars as six of his major co-stars passed away after starring in movies with him and two others were injured in separate car accidents. Pretty spooky, right?

The curse all started with actor J.T. Walsh, who starred opposite Thornton in “Sling Blade.” Walsh died at age 52 of a heart attack, never seeing “Sling Blade” released to the public.

Jim Varney was the next victim, but you probably know him better as Ernest, starring in movies such as “Ernest Goes to Camp.” Varney was in the Thornton movie “Daddy and Them” in 2001 but didn’t see the film released as he passed away from lung cancer at age 51.

Moving on to John Ritter, who co-starred with Thornton in “Bad Santa.” Ritter unexpectedly and suddenly died of an aortic dissection at 55. As if all this were not enough, let’s not forget Heath Ledger, who was in “Monster’s Ball” with Thornton, Bernie Mac in “Bad Santa” and Patrick Swayze in “Waking Up in Reno.” All of this means we would think twice before we’d say yes to starring in a movie with Thornton (maybe this is why he hasn’t seemed to make a good movie in years).
