A family decides to take a job caretaking a hotel which is snowed in and abandoned during winter. Naturally, it snows so much that even the phone lines go down.
There’s nothing like being out in a remote location without a phone and creepy kid having visions. The family learns that dark things have happened at the hotel and that it is, in fact, build atop an old Indian burial ground.
As winter sets in, things begin to get creepier and creepier as Nicholson’s character, the kid’s father, begins to have his own nightmarish visions and becomes incredibly violent. This film is not for the faint of heart. If you get scared easily, you might want to pass.
