The true story of rapper Jimmy Smith, Jr. and his rise from “B-Rabbit” to “Eminem.” Eminem plays himself in his childhood story of inner city Detroit, Michigan and his struggle to make a name in a predominately African-American rap industry.

Eminem is a famous rapper, known for his violent lyrics and sadomasochist tendencies.

He is a white boy rapper who rose to fame despite many obstacles in his way.

In 1995 he was a factory worker living with his alcoholic mother and her abusive boyfriend in a trailer park. Jimmy enters a number of rap battles, but during his first one he is booed right off the stage. He lives life as a victim, until he decides to take control of his own destiny. He begins winning rap battles and the end of the movie shows Jimmy confident, ready to take on the rap industry.

We all know what happens to Eminem after the movie. He goes on to become a successful rapper, full of angst and popular among other young men who feel slighted by the world.

He has had a successful career in rap and he is also known as Slim Shady. This is one of his alter egos that stemmed from his Slim Shady LP. He writes dark and twisted songs under this alter ego.
